Our lab investigates the molecular machinery driving cellular movement and force—focusing on the myosin superfamily in health and disease, and how mutations or drugs alter function. Using structural biology and protein engineering, we uncover dynamic mechanisms to inform precision therapies. Our work bridges biomolecular engineering and programmable microenvironments to manipulate force generation at the nanoscale.
